Climate in Ireland.
The annual average temperature is 9 degrees. The temperarure in summer time reches up to about 19 degrees. The windspread varies between 4m and 6m. The sun shines mainly in the southeast of the country. The rain falls mainly in the northwest, west and southwest in the country and mainly occurs in winter rather than summer. Irish weather changes all the time. In the summer time it rains but some summers it can be very warm. The weather in ireland changes all the time. In winter it is always raining and sometimes it snows. Different parts of ireland get the same weather but at different times. For example last year england got loads of snow for about two weeks and then in went and Dublin then get it for weeks and it spread around ireland. One year Dublin it rained for 2-3 days straight and shopping centres and roads and streets and eventually flooded eg. Dundrum shopping centre. I flooded all down stairs and it was very badly damged. It was closed for a couple of days after.

Climate in the amazon rainforst
In the amazon rainforest it rains almost the wole year. You can find a rainy seanson and dry season. Sometimes the amazon rainforest can have tropical weather at the north and south of the equator. When the forest has tropical weather it is humid and warm throughout the year with a temperature of 27 degrees. The different between day and night climates are between 2-5 degrees, and the temperature range is 2 degrees. It is said that you are best to visit the amazon rainforest between March and June. The Amzon rainforest climate is changing for the worse as the rainfall has decreased due to deforestation. The amazon rainforest is the boggest remaining tropical forest on earth.

Factors that influence the climate and weather.
.
Prevailing wind patterns: There is 3 major wind patterns in the northen and south hemisphere. As seasons change, the wind patterns shift north or south.
Latitude and angles of the suns rays: As the earth circles the sun, the tilt of its axis causes changes is the angle of which sun ray's contact the earth. This changes the daylight hours. Polar regions experience great variations with no sunlight in the winter and up to 24 hours of daylight in the summer.
Altitude effect climate: Normally climate becomes colder as the altitude increases. Plants and trees and all other plant life around them cannot grow at this time of the year.
Jet Streams: Jet streams is an area of air above where to air masses collide eg. cold front meet a warm front. The greater the temperature between the air masses, the greater the air pressure will be. Jet streams mostly form in the winter when there is a big difference between temperatures.
Weather fronts: An air mass with a different temperature and humiditie is called a front. On a cold front cold air replaces warm air. On a warm front warm air replaces cold air.

High pressure and Low pressure
High Pressure:
Pressure is important to the earth's atmosphere because is can determine wind and weather patterns across the globe. High pressure areas are caused by air masses being cooled, from above or from below. As the air mass cool it shrinks. As it shrinks things around the air mass will fill in above it. Hight pressure areas are usually fair, sunny weather. Because air shrinks when there is high pressure you are often left with clear sunny skies.
Low Pressure:
Low pressure areas are generally cloudy and rainy areas. Low pressure is an area of rising air, it then condenses in to clouds and rain. If you have high and low pressure in the same place you will have windy weather and the wind will blow between the two air masses.

Climate Change.
Climate change is one of the most challenging issues facin humanity. Increased levels of greenhouse gases increase the amount of energy trapped in the atmosphere wich can lead to global impacts. Climate change has a big impact on wildlife animals and habitats in popular regions. Polar bears and emperor penguins are delclining very fast in the north and south pole. They have effectivy less space and less for to go around, which effects number and animals giving birth. Climate change is having a huge impact and faster impact on the arctic. Teperature had increased by about 5 degrees celcius over the last 100 years. It also has a impact on the whole northen hemisphere. Climate change also has an impact on the antartica. The seas are warming up which is bad for the sea life. This will effect sea life like pemguins and whales. Some countries suffer from water shortage, this can have a large result of increases in the number of people due to water scarcity. It effects land this is growing crops and there is a risk of hunger. It is said that Australia has ongoing water shortages in souther and eatsterm australia and are likely to get worse. Imprtant region such as the great barrier reef are likely to loose a big part of their wildlife. Some costal communitites are likely to see an increased risk of costal storms and flooding.
